Knowing that the Word of God is like a sharp two-edged sword, Pastor Don brings the scriptures to life with the precision handling of a surgeon's scalpel to rid the hearer of the cancer of sin that has sought to invade their souls.

Because he knows the "rock that he was hewn from" Pastor Don demonstrates a tenderness, compassion and patience that far surpasses the tough exterior that many immediately see. It is not uncommon to see him listening attentively to the conversation of a homeless person or offering a shoulder to cry on to a wayward young person.
